Pore attended Madison Comprehensive High School, and played college soccer at the University of Tulsa, where in 2004 he was a finalist for the Hermann Trophy, twice named first team All-American, and the top goal and points scorer in the nation.

[edit]Professional & Coaching Career

Coach Pore has extensive coaching experience with most recently coaching for BSC Portland.  Ryan is a USSF National "B" licensed coach and professional player with the MLS Portland Timbers. He was drafted in the second round of the 2005 MLS Super Draft by Kansas City, and spent the next three years with the MLS side, playing in 58 league games and talling three goals. He signed with the Portland Timbers of the USL First Division in 2009. During his first year with Portland, Ryan appeared in 23 league matches scoring 10 goals. During the 2010 season he appeared in 29 league matches for Portland and led the Timbers in scoring with 15 goals. On October 19, 2010 Ryan was named as one of the first four players to be signed by the Portland Timbers ahead of their expansion into Major League Soccer in 2011.
